  1. Once a man names Mick Brown lived in Ballyfarney . One day he went sewing Cabbage seed. When he had the drill made he got the seed it was all gone bad and he could not get none any nearer than Ballina. So he had to go.
    When he was leaving put down a pot for pot of potatoes . The he set off across the bogs and was back before the potatoes were boiled . He was the fastest that ever was known . He had no shoe on him ands feet were swollen with the cold and stabs of heather.
