  1. Hemlock. If a person or a beast had a swelling of any sort the old people used to say that hemlock pounded well and put to the swelling would blister the swollen part and cure it.
    Slanghnas. If you got slánghnas and pounded it and then put it to a cut of any sort, the cut would heal quickly.
    Comfrey. Another herb used to cure a cut was the comfrey. If you pulled the roots of the comfrey and pounded it and put it on a cut, the cut would heal quickly and would not fester.
