  1. Where a Priest Hid
In the Penal times a Priest from Templeboy used to say Mass at Mass-hill for his parish-ioners. One day as he was arriving to say Mass he saw English soldiers coming across the mountain. He jumped on his horse and rode as hard as he could to the "Cerb" (?). There he hid himself. The soldiers did not follow him as they did not think he was a priest at all.
