The fairy said to him will you give me that goat and the man said he did not know. The fairy said to him "Come before our king till we see will we buy the goat." The man went before the king and the king said he would give a melodeon for the goat and the man agreed and started for home. When he reached home he went to bed. When he was sometime in bed he found a noise and he got up to find the melodeon jumping through the house and he did not know what to do. His wife said to him that she always heard it said that if such things happened the article should be put at the foot of an ash tree. The man did so but the article was back before him so he nor his wife never had an hours peace after.
