    7. If you hang a piece of rowan tree over the door on May Eve you will have good luck during the year. If you make a ring of same and place it over the dash when churning on May Morning you will have a good yield of butter for the year and the butter cannot be taken from you.
    8. If a cow has two calves it is a sign of good luck.
