    If you had a wart on our hand and put hot porridge to the wart it is said that it would cure it
    If yu stung yorself with a nettle and get a dock-leaf and rub it to the sting it would cure it.
    If you had a boil and get hot water and ivy and put the ivy down in the water after a while lift it up and rub it to the boil it would cure it.
    If you had a thorn and put bacon on it, it would cure you.
    If you got a burn and put lamp oil on it as soon as you get it, it will never pain you.
    If you had corns and get bread and wet it in buttermilk and put it to the corn going to bed at night, it would heal it.
    If you had a wart and tie a horse hair or a bit of silk thread on it, the wart would go.
