    gardens. The stems and leaves are boiled
    in a saucepan of water until the water has
    boiled to half. This is bottled when cold and
    used fasting for nine mornings.
    Cure for the Liver
    Gather a handful of Dandelion leaves
    and eat fasting for nine mornings. The
    leaves of the Stanlus a herb which grows
    in sandy soil is also recommended for
    the Liver especially in Spring.
    Cure for Warts
    One of the many cures I heard for
    warts is, get a potatoe split it in two halves
    and rub it to the wart in the name of the
    Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Thus continuing
    for nine mornings doing the same each
    morning. It is said the wart will disapp-
    -ear then.
