Drumshanbo. Many old stories are told about this lane.
It is said that every three years two girls are met walking on this lane, about 12 o'clock at night. It is not known for certain if this story is true. About three fields away from this lane is the well which marks the place where St. Cillian went to build his Monastery.
There is another road about half a mile from my home. It was by this lane that the black pig travelled when on his his way from Fenagh to Ballinamuck.
