    Sty-in-eye. Pull ten gooseberry thorns. Throw away one. Point the other nine to the eye and throw them over your right shoulder. Do this on Monday, Thursday and next Monday.
    Warts. Rub a black snail to the warts. Then fasten him on a blackthorn bush and while he is withering the warts are also withering. Warts are also cured with water from blessed wells. Many of those wells are to be found throughout the country. There is one in Drumshanbo. The water is used for the removal of warts alone. The person who goes to the well takes a bottle of water home with
