  1. It is said that if you were born on a Sunday you were lucky, and if you were born on on Saturday you were very unlucky. Saturday is also an unlucky day to start any new work or to go on a Monday.
The old people used to say the following when anyone was getting married:
    Monday for health
    Tuesday for wealth
Wednesday the best day of all
    Thursday for crosses
    Friday for losses
And Saturday is no day at all.
It was also said July was the luckiest month to be born in and if you died in the month of December you would go to Heaven.
