  1. Forts are also called raths. There are always called quicks and the fairies are supposed to live there.
    It is very unlucky to have anything to do with forts. People long ago used to hear music when they were passing. People never cut down trees because it is very unlucky. Sonny Doyle was cutting down a trees in Dangan and when he had the tree cut it would not.
    He left it there and came away home. That night the nehbouors heard hamering and a lot of noise around the tree. He came the next morning and hit
