  1. Years ago the marriage customer were very different to these at present. When the marriage ceremony was over they went for long drives through the country on jaunting cars.
    Anyone who could play the accordion, flute or Violin was invited. They arrived back at the groom's house in the evening, where they would have feasting and dancing. During the night a band of youths called straw men came to the party to wish good luck to the bride and groom. Afterwards
