  1. The cuckoo and the swallow that we see in Ireland in summer migrate to other lands in Autumn. It is said that the cuckoo never builds a nest of her own, she lays her eggs in other birds' nests.
    The swan is a very strong bird. She builds her nest in reeds. Some people say that the swan is able to break an oar with its wing.
    The crow begins to build her nest the first day of March and if it falls on a Sunday she will leave it till the next day.
