  1. There is always a good judge of the weather in every village. There is a man in my village and he is a very good judge. His name is Myles Feerick. He lives a few hundred yards from my house. Here are some of the signs he gives.
, When the sky is very dark it is the sign of rain
, When there is a red sunset it is the sign of fine weather.
, When there is a rainbow in the morning it is the sign of rain.
, A ring around the moon is the sign of stormy weather.
, A lot of stars in the sky is the sign of frost
, A waterfall making a lot of noise is the sign of frost also.
, Blue lights in the fire is the sign of rain.
, Soot falling from the chimney is the sign of rain also.
, If there is enough of blue in the sky to make a sailor's jacket it is the sign of fine weather
, If the smoke is coming out straight from the chimney it is the sign of fine weather.
