    Once more our sanon rulers,

    Once more our Sexon rulers,
    With the emigration scheme,
Would send us from our country,
And her beautious lakes and streams,
But we swear we will not go,
From the soil of holy Ireland,
Where the pretty little shamrock grows.
    II
    When bloody Cromble vailny stroved,
    To enticipate our race,
The words were "Hell or Connaught,"
And we chose the latter place,
For today they would us perish,
    Amid Canadian frost and snow,
Far awy from dear old Ireland,
Where the pretty little shamroke grows.
    III
Where the wrath of Cromwell failed,
    Shall George Travellyn win,
    Will the sons of Ireland,
Martyrs dead consent to such a sin,
"No no by Heaven" they tell them,
    Spencer oughto Geoge and Co.
