After that the people called her Maire Capaill. She never wore any shoes. She wore troighthins. One night she wanted a spinning wheel. She started off to Galway after her supper for it. She was knitting all the time while she was going to Galway. She was home again the next night. The people were eating their supper when she came.
She bought the spinning wheel and carried it home on her back. She had two pairs of stockings knitted when she came home.
