    20. If the fog rises out of the rivers and streams it is a sign of good weather.

    22. If we can hear the blacksmith's hammer striking the anvil a mile away we will have rain.
    23. When a number of swans gather together in a lake it is a sign of rain.
    24. When the ring around the moon is near it will have rain soon.
    25. IF the hens go to bed early is it a sign of a windy night.
    26. If the snow doesn't melt for a long time more snow will follow.
    27. When the cricket sings at night the next day will be wet.
    28. When you see the sea-gulls eating with the hands it is a sign of rain.
    29. When the sheep graze early in the morning it is a sign of a wet day.
    30. If the frogs turn yellow it is a sign of good weather and if they turn black it is a sign of rain.
