    It was attended by Dr Fallon one time bishop of Kilmacdugh, and by Fr Ford, Parish Priest of Kinvara. This was about 1880 A.D.
    Then there was another school held in Fahey's Barn in Cnocancabra. There was another school near where the Cathedral now stands, and it was attended by Lever, a Novelist who wrote "Jack Hinton". This book treated of the Knockbarron Races and other events which happened in the town at that time. This book was written in Monaghan's
