- 1. there was a lime in our village about a 100 years ago. All the people in the village used to burn lime in it
It was in existence until about 20 years ago. It is knocked down now.
2. There were nine houses in our village long ago. Nowadays there are only four houses. There are four of those houses knocked. These were Reddens' Fahys' Sapars' and Mitchels'.
3. There is a large well where the Mitchels lived long ago which is called Mitchels' well. There is a well where the Sapars lived which is called Sapars' well.
Cosgraves' house is there yet.
