    nowadays and there is hardly any wool made at all.
    Long ago people used to weave all their own flannels and tweed and make their wool for knitting.
    At one time a man came over from England with the linen and he tried to spoil the woolen trade on the Irish people. Since that time there was never as much woolen made or used in Ireland. The wool that is made is carded in factories nowadays.
    People usually wear black clothes when in mourning for the first six months and mauve and white for the last six months.
