    A man came to my house one night and the cat was scraping at the leg of the table and he said we were going to have rain. I asked him to tell more signs about the weather which I will now mention. If swallows are flying low we are going to have rain. When the frog changes his colour from brown to russet it is the sign of rain. Ducks quacking is the sign of rain. Peacocks crowing it is said we are going to have rain. Variable winds from west to south-west is a great sign of rain. Fire with bluest tints
