    river Bunowen. This river is famous for fishing especially pike, throut and perch.
    The village of Lisnascreena got its from the screaming fairies.
    Originally it was divided in three parts. One part was called the near side and the other was called the upper side and the other was called Goat's town and that is how it got its name.
    The families in this district are most know are the O Kelly's. There is a population of people in the district of Ahascragh from three hundred to three hundred and fifty people in this district.
    There is a wood in this district it is situated at the back of Castlegar . It is not very big it is called the Castlegar wood.
