    IV
    Sore with grief and mourning
    Through Fanat now bewail
The father tears his hairy locks
    The mother now bewails
The sister and the brother cries
    Alas! we are undone
While the sweet-hears now do mourn the boys
    Their tender hearts did won.
    V
    Now to conclude and finish
    And end this doleful tale
I hope the blessed Saviour will have
    Mercy on their souls.
My eyes begin to fill with tears
I must lay down my pen.
So the Lord have mercy on their souls
    All Christians say Amen
