Supposing a ferret has got too much milk (or bread & milk) & not able to finish it all, give the remainder to the child who has the cough & and it will be cured - A land mouse boiled & and the soup used either in tea or baked in bread, has been known to cure (weak kidneys)
A grown up servant boy who was a great nuisance to the house was cured in this way.
The lady boiled the mouse (land mouse) & put a little sugar in it & and baked it into bread, then gave it to the boy & cured him.
