  1. Long ago a giant threw a big stone from Arneymocal to Drumbarnet hill a distance of about ¼ mile and the stone that he threw was 1½ ton weight, and the mark of his three fingers and his thumb is left on it. It is that long ago that the people do not remember where he came from. The stone is near this district and I was up at it and saw the marks.
