    This melody was known by a few old people in the neighbourhood of Raphoe about thirty years ago.

    This melody was known by a few old people in the neighbourhood of Raphoe about thirty years ago. No one there seems to recollect it now.
    It is a song, but its name, and the poem lyric I have failed to discover so far, except the opening phrases
