    Cure for stye get ten gooseberries stabs and dab it with the tenth and throw away the other nine
    Cure for warts a raw potato cut it in two rub it on the warts make up the potato in a parcel and leave it at the first cross roads you meet and they will be away in a week
    Cure for warts when a butcher is killing a pig put your hands into the wound in the throat and the warts will go away
