Local Cures.
Long ago there were not many doctors and the people made cures of their own.
The cure they had for toothache was they went out through the forests and they caught a frog and they put some part of the from into their mouth and the tooth was healed again.

A wart; they got a cold potato and they rubbed the potato on the wart and then they put the potato into a heap of manure and when the potato was decaying the wart whithered away.
Mumps; They put a horse's halter on the person who had the mumps and they
