    There is a churn in our house, and it is three and a half feet long.

    then put in the thick milk and put the churn staff and lid on it. Sometimes they lift the churn staff straight up and other times they leave off the lid and churn from side to side. When they are finished with it the woman takes off the butter and puts salt on it. Then she gets a knife and takes the hairs out of it. When this is done they get the butter spade and make a print out of it. When, once upon a time there was a woman called Maggie Mc Groary and she lived in Eglish. One day she was herding the cattle under the spinks and she saw a hare running out and in between them. When she put in the cattle that night they had a great lot of milk and for three days the same hare went out and in between them. At the end of three days she had the full of the churn of milk. Next morning she started to churn the milk and when she was three hours churning there was no shape of any butter coming on it. She went to all
