    Once upon a time there was a woman and a man living in a house in Glenfin.

    Once upon a time there was a woman and a man living in a house in Glenfin. This man and woman were very poor and they had nothing to eat and the man if he had any money he would drink it. One day the man got ten pounds lost on the road. His wife told him to give it to the owner. The man said it would be useful for the house and that he would go out and get goods for it. In the middle of the day the man started off. The woman was waiting very hard to get the goods but for three days the man didn't come home. When it was twelve o'clock the next night the man came back and he had no goods with him. When they went to bed that night and were falling asleep they heard a great noise round about the house.
