    The sufferer had his head down and was waiting patiently for the charm to work. Suddenly the blacksmith drew a red bar of iron out of the fire and rushed towards the man as if to attack him.
    The man jumped up in terror, flew out the door of the forge leaving his tooth behind him at the other end of the cord.
    That was how the blacksmith worked the 'charm'.
