    A cure for a sting of a nettle is to rub a dock leaf to it.
    A remedy for warts is to rub a stone to every wart and then put the stones into a bag and leave the bag at four crossroads and whoever will take the stones will get the warts and they will go from you.
    A cure for a burn is to boil the inner skin of an elder tree for one hour and when cold apply to the burn.
    To stop a cut from bleeding put a clean cobweb to it.
    When the old people had sore lips they used chew wild woodbine and then spit it out again.
    A remedy for a cloud in a sheep's eye is to chew flig and spit it into its eye.
    When the old people had sore eyes they used bathe their eyes in cold tea.
