  1. Tobar Golias is situated near Mrs McDermot's house. It is about 200 yds slightly to the south west. It is a fine spring well over which a solitary bush hangs. The people of the district never use the water from this spring well because they do not consider it lucky. The strange part about it is that nobody seems to know who (Saint) Golias was, but they nevertheless have paid particular devotion to Golias in connection with this well. Tradition has it that once Tobar Golias was some few hundred yards directly west on the hill which is still apparent to all. Some protestants
