  2. In the village of Gowlaun under one of four whitethorn trees there is supposed to be a pot of gold hidden. It is believed that there is a serpent guarding it, and that some person will find it some time, but it is not known who. Nobody ever made an attempt to unearth it, and no lights have been seen there.
