  2. A tinker
    Once there was a very big hotel in Dublin, and the propietor was very well off and owned some house property in Dublin. Some of the houses were small and miserable to suit the poor people.
    It happened that a tinker or tin smith, was living in one of these houses, And he fell into arrears of rent. He was unable to pay his debts.
    This wealthy hotel keeper, evicted the tinker, who had neither camp or a house to go into. The tinker went to Dan O'Connell and told
