  1. In olden times some people used to have sod houses, with a creel made of rods for a chimney crock. There was a man and his wife who occupied one of those houses. They kept hens in the end of the house on roosts at night.
    As this man and wife was often away from home at the same time. They had a trap hole at the bottom of the door. They used to leave it opened to allow the hens to go in and out to lay.
    In these people's absence the fox entered the hole as well as the hens. Some nights they forgot to close this trap hole. One night the fox caught
