  1. The following prayer is said before getting up in the morning.
Oh Angel of God, my guardian
    dear,
To whom God's love commits me
    here,
Even this day be at my side,
To light and guard, to rule and
    guide,
    Infant Jesus, meek and mild,
Look on me, Thy little child,
Pity mine and pity me, and
suffer me to come to Thee,
Heart of Jesus, I adore Thee,
Heart of Mary, I implore Thee,
Heart of Joseph, pure and just,
In these three hearts I place
    my trust.
    Amen.
