    a person out of his home if he did not pay his rent and he would not allow two smokes out of the one house. There were no tithes collected round this district in olden times. The people were punished for trivial acts. It was usual for one neighbour to belie another to the landlord. Then the landlord would come and put him out of his land and give his land to the other neighbour.
