    There is a ruin in Johnstown and it is said that Mass was said there long ago.

    There is a ruin in Johnstown and it is said that Mass was said there long ago. It is situated in Loftus' land in the field next to the road.
    There is another ruin in Churchpark and it was built Once St. Patrick was in Holywell and he came across a well that was there.
    He knelt down beside the well on a stone and he blessed it and he left the track of his knee in the stone.
    On the last Sunday in July every year people go to this well and they perform stations around it.
    Long ago there was a pattern on Holywell on the last Sunday in July.
    There were fruit stalls and bars and sports there and the people looked forward
