Ar an leathanach seo
- Nowadays there are travellers going about from house to house.
Every fair evening they come to our house in search of help or sometimes they sell useful articles, such as; Sacred pictures, beads, holy-water-fonts, scrubbing brushes, artificial flowers, statues and many other useful articles. People often give them alms such as; money, old clothes, or bottles, and they give them something to eat, or drink.
Some of them sleep in a very dangerous place. They often pull out half a cock of hay and bury themselves in it, and there they sleep quite contented. More of them sleep along side the road, or behind a ditch, or sometimes they sleep in an old shed.
Some of these are married and more of them are single. These travellers are called by various names. There is an old fellow who goes about(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
