  1. Warts (a). To apply a fasting spittle to them for nine mornings.

    Jaundice (a) The jaundice is cured by boiling snails and drinking the water. It is a disease which leaves the body all yellow.
    The sting of a nettle. (a) The sting of a nettle is cured by rubbing the juce of a dock leaf to the sting.
    A pain in the back (a) If a person had a pain in their back and an other person to tramp on them it would cure them.
