- Warts (a). To apply a fasting spittle to them for nine mornings.

Mumps. (a). Mumps is cured by putting ass winkers on the sufferer and bring them round the pig sty seven times.
The dirty mouth (a) A posthumous child has the cure of the dirty mouth.
Wild Fire. (a) Wild fire is cured by rubbing a piece of gold to it.
Measels. (a) The measels are cured by boiling a nettle root and drinking the water.
Jaundice (a) The jaundice is cured by boiling snails and drinking the water. It is a disease which leaves the body all yellow.
The sting of a nettle. (a) The sting of a nettle is cured by rubbing the juce of a dock leaf to the sting.
A pain in the back (a) If a person had a pain in their back and an other person to tramp on them it would cure them.
