Sunday is supposed to be an unlucky day for cutting hair. If the water rises above its usual height on Hallow Eve night it is a sign that the crops will be scarce and clear, but if it does not rise above its usual height the crops will be plentiful and cheap. The three first days of April is known as the '' borrowing days '' and also the '' days of the old cow ''
There was an old cow one time and the people thaught that the cold days of March would end her life. When March was out she galloped away saying she did not care about March so March borrowed three days of April to kill the cow and the cold days ended the cows life
