    There are still people travelling about and begging. Some of them have been doing so for many years. They look poor and their clothes are poor.
    On Saturday's people come from Tullamore and sell small articles and the people buy from them and they also collect bottles. A lot of these travellers are welcome. They sleep in caravans and some of them sleep in tents. They have their food with them. They accept bread, bottles and old rubbish. Some of them travel on foot and more of them travel by horse and cart or caravan.
    Those that travel on foot come singly and those that come in carts come in families and sometimes in bands.
    The family of Caseys most frequently visits our district.
