- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)on the Feast of St. Anne. People come from different parts of the County, and all the people of the district congregate together at the well. They visit the old graveyard, and pray over their deceased friends, and decorate their graves. They make a pilgrimage to the well. They drink of the water, and carry some home in flasks. They bath any sores, or affected parts of their bodies in a small stream which runs out of the well. A small tree which grew beside the well in former times, cured the toothache.
