  1. Several people in this district
    have got remedies for their ailments,
    without the aid of doctors.
    A young boy, Daniel Quigley,
    Ballybawn, aged 7 years and his
    younger sister Agnes, aged 5 years
    fell dangerously ill. Their father
    sent for the local doctor, Dr. Kelly
    Killane. He gave some medicine
    and directed how to be given. This
    was doing them no good, so he could
    not diagnose the disease. He got
    two other doctors to consult about
    the children, Dr. Walsh + Dr. Hickey.
    both from New Ross, but they could
    not find out the disease either.
    They treated the children with powders
    and medicine, but of no avail.
    They could do no more. The little
    girl Agnes, died, and Daniel was
