Long ago there were no wireless stations nor barometers to tell of weather changes and condition likely to come. People in those days were compelled to rely upon natural signs which were very correct.The inhabitants of the sea coast were considered the best judges of the weather as those people who generally lived by their labours on the sea were naturally keen observers of weather omens. Their risky calling made them so. People residing inland were not as much concerned. The Spring and the Harvest time being the two seasons that weater conditions chiefly affected them.
