    Out from the graves of that martyred sod
    Their spirits ever look
    For liberty and freedom's sun,
    To shine around Ballinamuck.

    Good fruits which were the gifts of god
    But these good fruits were not their own
    For the improvements that you made
    But tested muscle blood and bone
    And caused the bloom of life to fade
