nurse the doll in the cot. Then I used call myself a mother.
When I had about six dolls made I used to put them all sitting round and teach them and call myself a teacher. I always had a rod and the principal part of the teaching was slapping.
Then I used to make a little house and put a table on the side of it. I used to put an old kettle and set the table while it was boiling. Sometimes I used to make cakes out of clay and leave them in the sun to bake. I was then woman of the house.
