    Games I play
We play a great many games. One of them is called Fish in the pan. This is the way I play it. All the children catch hands in a ring and one stands in the centre with her eyes shut, and the rest of the children run round the one in the centre saying,
"Fish in the pan catch all you can
You wont catch me nor Mary Ann"
Then the one in centre tries to catch somebody and she guesses her name; if she is right the caught one has to go in the centre and continue on.
    Falling Statues
The way we play that is all the children stand in ring with one in the centre. The children have to stand as they were lifeless. The child who laughs first has to stand in the centre the next time and continue the same way.
