Matchmaking
Long ago this district was noted for matchmaking and out of the matchmaking came marriages. The bridegroom brought a car and horse and also the bestman. On the bride's car came the the bride and the bride's maid. The bride used to have great work choosing the colour of her bridal garment..

They uses to say that to get married on Hansel Monday you would have two husbands or two wives.
